About Us

After graduating from college with a degree in Elementary Education, teaching second grade, and home schooling my two children, I decided to learn to knit. Little did I know how quickly I would fall in love with both knitting and design.

Living in the Seattle area, with its cool, damp weather, knitting is very popular and host to an abundance of fantastic yarn shops offering classes taught by some of the country's most renowned instructors. I had the good fortune to work in one of these shops, which led to knitting models for the shop and eventually led to my desire to knit full time. This is how Snoqualmie Fiber Arts came to be.

Our goal at Snoqualmie Fiber Arts is to provide customers with unique, hand knit accessories different from anything you'll find in other boutiques. Many of our bags are embellished with vintage jewelry for a one of a kind look. Our hand knit hats and bags can be custom knit in your choice of colors.
